Last night at the Drill Hall local musicians gathered to play and remember a friend, Richard Langridge. Richard collapsed and died moments after a performance at the Drill Hall.
The evening was an opportunity to get together and play some songs and remember. It also marked the naming of the new stage in the Drill Hall – The Richard Langridge Stage.
The evening enabled musicians to meet and listen to others perform and served a reunion for some. It was well received and as a result it was decided to continue this as an annual event. It is hoped that the event will be held in March each year – the month of Richard’s birth. The 3rd of March 2015 is booked.
